Roxanne First Shopify rebuild and customisation

A London-based fine jewellery studio, Roxanne First had a outdated online store that needed a redesign to capture the brand’s cool and playful aesthetic, while improving conversion rates through strategic optimisation. The project involved working with a large product catalogue and extensive Shopify theme customisation.

Challenge

A large site like this, with over 800 pages and products, needed careful planning from a content and SEO perspective. The development and UX improvements also needed to be integrated seamlessly without affecting the existing live website and sales.

Our Approach

Careful project planning

Built a detailed page matrix for every product and page to track design, development, and content progress throughout the project.

Retaining search visibility

We created a comprehensive migration plan and tech audit to ensure all old URLs were covered to reduce a drop in search engine visibility post launch.

Optimising for conversion

By improving navigation and less ambiguous signposting we could allow customers to browse faster, halving the number of clicks a user needed to find their product from minimum 4 clicks to maximum 2.

Clear product categorisation, “Best seller” and “Low stock” tags to add credibility and create a sense of urgency.

More accessible and detailed product information to improve desirability and justify the high price tag.

Integrated quick checkout buttons for Google Pay and Shop Pay to help increase conversions over guest checkout.
